This poster series was created for New York City-based glam-punk bands heavily
influenced by the likes of the Sex Pistols, The Clash, and the Ramones. To accentuate
their lipstick, eyeliner, and ripped-clothing image, the design recalls the DIY
xerox-poster art of the late 1970’s. Influenced by the works of famed designers
such as Jamie Reid and Art Chantry, we sparked a new sense of validity to
struggling bands in the unforgiving New York rock scene.
